Stuck In A Rut – The State of Stuck
If your office or business has decreased or plateaued, then you are most likely in the state of stuck. Here are some tips to get you back into the game again.
Off Purpose And/Or Lost Focus
We have forgotten our mission or do not have one. We have no affirmation or goals. The first thing is to revisit, and re-align with the original reasons why we started our business or practice in the first place.
A Contaminated Mind
We need to filter what goes into our minds. We need to visualize getting a steel door or a massive bodyguard to protect our mind. Most likely we have allowed too many negative thoughts into our mind that have caused us to question what we are doing. Typical and common excuses we may be using are: The economy is bad, It doesn’t work in my area, No one has any money, We can’t charge for that, We can’t raise our fees or prices, maybe our prices are too high. This means we have allowed limiting beliefs to control our mind. We must stop this “contamination” of the mind as soon as possible before it permeates every aspect of our lives not just our business.
Our System Has Become WEAK
Just like our body gets run down and disease begins to set in, most likely we have become weak and the virus of negative has gotten into us and affected our business. We are probably stressed and we have lost our fire and energy. Nothing we do is working because the negative virus has infected us. Our business or practice has become ill and so has everyone else in it. We can sit there and watch our sales go down, or revenue drop, or marketing disappear, further rotting the core of what we are doing. If we do nothing the virus will keep eating us up. Or we can decide to get healthy and do all the things we know we should be doing in order to get our business and ourselves healthy again.
What Are We Doing With Our Time?
Time is where our business heals. What are we doing with our time? Success is by choice and not by chance. What new choices are we going to make with our time? Perhaps we can cut back or eliminate television, movies, even fictional books. If we begin to do what champions do we will have the necessary time to get well. Get our focus, purpose and mission back into the game. Everyday we should wake up and make the choice to work harder and smarter. Get ourselves out of park and start moving forward. Eat better, exercise more, read motivating business building books.
FIVE THINGS
1. Ask for help. Quit pretending that everything is okay.
2. Hang with energized people. Find friends that keep us inspired.
3. Destroy our excuses. Delete all our limitations.
4. Believe in ourselves. We deserve to be better and have more.
5. How bad do we really want it? What are we willing to do to get it? Start today, we must change and get outside of ourselves. Be relentless. Get back the passion. WE ALL DESERVE IT!!!!
